Survey Says...Confidence Among CEOs Surging Entering Final Quarter of 2020

The Conference Board, in collaboration with The Business Council, conducted a survey evaluating CEOs' assessment of current conditions in the final months of the third quarter, their outlook for the future, and what actions they plan to take in the fourth quarter. While CEO confidence is up, the coronavirus pandemic is still giving some top executives a reason to be cautious. Dana Peterson, Chief Economist for The Conference Board, explains why CEO confidence is surging when it comes to the current situation.
