Survey: Women Still Do More Housework Than Men

So the majority of people in the UK agree men and women should share chores equally, right? But according to the British Social attitudes survey, two thirds of respondents said women still do most of the washing and ironing as well as most of the cleaning and cooking in the home. While ideas on gender roles have changed significantly since the 19 eighties, you know, 48% of people back then agreed with the statement that quote, a man's job is to earn money and a woman's is to look after the home. Only 9% of people agree with that today. What's also interesting is that 32% of men admitted that they do fewer chores than they should.
