Elsewhere, the US women's soccer team has been eliminated from the women's World Cup after losing to Sweden during a penalty shootout during yesterday's game in Melbourne, Australia, the two teams played 120 minutes without either scoring a goal. Well, ultimately, Sweden triumphed in a 54 penalty shootout. The dramatic match saw both Sweden's Natalie Brune and the State Megan Rapino missing shots while the US women's team has won the last two World Cup titles in 2015 and 2019.
