New York City is famous for its art museums and galleries, but Manhattan usually gets most of the attention. Our Chief Art Correspondent Cheryl McGinnis decided to take a trip to the other boroughs in search of the best new art exhibits the 5 boroughs have to offer. McGinnis says one of the most surprising places with some of the best art is Snug Harbor in Staten Island. The old housing facility for sailors is now home to a number of works of art and a beautifully cultivated Japanese garden. McGinnis also takes a look at some of the newest exhibits in Queens and the Bronx. One, at the Queens Museum, examines the diverse array of food available in one of the country's most diverse areas.
