The current trend in offices is to have open spaces and collaborative tables. And while that might be in vogue, it is not always conducive to employee productivity, especially when employees identify as introverted. Morra Aarons-Mele, the author of, "Hiding in the Bathroom, An Introvert's Roadmap to Getting Out There," joins Cheddar to explain how introverts can thrive in any business setting. Aarons-Mele says introverts have "superpowers" and she has some advice on how to tap into them. She says the introverted employee must learn how to get out there when necessary, understand how to uniquely manage and build teams, effectively run meetings your way, and more. Oh, and spoiler alert, she also says it's okay to hide in the bathroom, or a similarly isolated place, when you need to.
