Space X's Falcon Heavy launched into space Tuesday afternoon. Teslarati's launch photographer Tom Cross set the scene from the launch site.
Cross described a lot of confidence on the ground before the successful launch took place Tuesday. Cross said the experience photographing this historic launch was "very surreal."
"It's a rush, that's why I do this," said Cross. "I have a lot of confidence in Space X because they've been able to do a lot of impossible things."
