The Texas Senate trial to consider the impeachment of Attorney General. Ken Paxton kicked off this morning. Paxton is being accused by the GOP led House of taking bribes and abusing his power in office. At the end of May, the Texas House of Representatives voted 100 21 to 23 to impeach him on charges of abuse of office. And bribery Paxton has denied wrongdoing says he will fight these charges. His wife Angela Paxson, who is a state senator is attending the trial but is barred from voting on the fate of Ken Paxton.
