‘The Holiday Stocking’ Cast Talks New Hallmark Movie

it is the season for Hallmark Holiday movie Magic. 40 new yuletide flicks are premiering this year on both the Hallmark channel and its digital channel, Hallmark Movies Industries. Yeah. And it includes holiday stocking, which follows an angel who has 12 days to reunite his sister using a family christmas traditions. Yeah, I got the chance to sit down with all the cast to talk about the movie and what homework fans can expect to take a look. I mean guys, without giving too much away, tell us a little bit about your characters and how they sort of play into the story here. Well, I play dani holiday, the middle sister, which is ironic because I'm the middle sister in real life. Um and Danny has, you know, she's got this boom booming blossoming career and things are amazing, but there's a void in her life. She has lost her connection with her siblings after their, their parents have passed and uh you know, she, she comes back to the old neighborhood under the guise of giving back to the community, but she's really there to make sure that her ventures at work kind of get to the next level and then all along the way, that journey really allows her to see that maybe there's some stuff that she's forgotten about. Um and the journey allows her to just really reconnect with her family and with herself. Honestly, I'm just jesus, it's so good to see you all again. No, it's so great. Seriously, Okay, no, I just, you going to go? I was like, oh, okay, sorry, sorry, okay. RJ RJ BJ myself, RJ plays robert um the older brother who is going on to the heavens and before he crosses those gates, he would love to be able to come back and fix this um the situation between your sisters. So he speaks to the head angel and she's like yes, you can come on back down to earth, but you can't come back down as yourself because you know, you're supposed to be in heaven, so he has to come down as RJ robert. Their brother has to come back down as RJ, which is me, BJ like, wait by the way, BJ, does that get confusing for you? Are J B J a little bit, a little bit, I'm sure someone else said it's been like B. J. And then cut its R. J. You gotta, you know, you know, so yeah, just a little bit, just a little bit, but he comes back down and um he, he has to come back down as someone else so that he can repair this with his sisters. He can't let them know who he is, he can't let them know anything other than, hey, I'm RJ, someone who works for your brother and he tries his best to reconcile this relationship and um I don't know if you've seen this, you know, but it's very interesting and he might get it done, he might not get it done, but we'll see, but usually holiday movies end on a good note, so I'm pretty sure you know what's going to happen. So yeah, okay into it into it. Okay. And I play marlo marlo is the baby sister who has a big attitude and she runs the family business, the holiday bakery which her mother uh ran and and she helped her mom since she was a little girl, she has an attitude with her sister, she thinks her sisters boogie and a lot of other things uh they're disconnected and and R. J. Is there to repair. That's all I'm gonna say and I have a beautiful teenage daughter and a crazy husband. That's right now what's so great about this movie is it's all about reviving old christmas traditions, that's why it's called obviously the holiday stocking. So I'm curious guys, what's one of your favorite christmas traditions in real life that you do? Oh um well my family and I usually go to church at midnight and then we come back and we get right to the present. Like we get to it. There's no, I mean at least in our adult life as Children, we had to wait until the break break of dawn, you know, But absolutely, but but as adults, yes, church presence. There you go. Uh for us, we would always be allowed to open one gift. So we always try to figure out what that one gift that we really wanted was and if it was in that same box and usually put that certain gift to some big big huge box so that we wouldn't know which one it was but you know, so we just opened up one present before my family. We are a little wild, we like to play Pochettino and drink eggnog with brandy the night before and then we'll get up and have christmas breakfast and be in our night closed until the afternoon and then we'll get dressed and get ready for christmas dinner. Okay well I know whose house I'm going to on christmas Eve way by the way. BJ this is not the first time you've starred in a christmas movie for Hallmark, you're like the classy Hallmark veteran around here. What is it about hallmark movies That makes them so good during christmas time. Classic. Um you know what anything that hallmark does is it leaves you feeling good? Oh they have me in. I'm into it.
