While vaccines are making Americans more optimistic about the pandemic, the rollout is incredibly slow. According to Bloomberg's vaccine tracker, 6.25 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been given to Americans and only 29% of shots distributed to states have been administered. We're one week into 2021 and still well below the Trump administration's goal of administering 20 million doses by the end of last year.
