Cheddar dedicated an entire day to badass women who are breaking barriers and achieving big things. Joanne Lipman, Former Chief Content Officer at USA Today, joined us as a co-host for the #chedHer special.
Lipman just published a new book titled "That's What She Said.” The book talks about gender inequality and what women need to do to fix it. She explained that it is important that people don't demonize all men in the workplace.
Lipman said a big focus of the #MeToo movement is to "get rid of the bad apples." She said what we really need is a systemic culture change. The former Chief Content Officer at USA Today said this is important because not all women have been sexually harassed in the workplace, but many know what it feels like to be marginalized.
