getting your nails done can often feel like a treat yourself moment, but sometimes you don't have the time to just sort of just sit there and wait for that manicure to dry, that's why Olive in june is a nail care brand. Taking the internet all by storm and our hennaed Oba caught up with Sarah Gibson tuttle, this founder and Ceo of Olive in june on a walk and talk to find out more about the company, Take a look. Your nail polish brand is taking the world by storm. You're launching some new innovations. A lot of us are very excited about it. Tell me more. We are launching our first ever quick dry line. So we originally launched our long lasting line which last two plus weeks. It's super exciting. I love it. It's polished, everyone's like is it gel and like it is polished, so exciting. And now we're launching a quick dry line because we know that if you really want that salon quality manny, that polish manny, but you want it really quickly, you need a quick dry line. There's so many brands out there, what makes yours so different. We really focus on our community. We are the first ever consumer focused nail brand on the market. So for us it's all about what do people really want, They actually want products that work that lasts a long time. I don't want my manny to chip in three days and I also want to make sure that the products are giving them something that maybe even they're not even thinking about so are press ons for example are the first ever sustainable press on on the market. So we want to make sure that it's not only going to last you a really long time but that it's better for the earth and for you as well. So we really focus on that consumer and making the best possible products for them that does make you guys a lot different because there's so much toxicity in this business as you know, so to launch a sustainable brand, was that always in the back of your mind when you were creating this, it's always been a foundation for us. It's always been how do you create products that really work that like kind of that intersection between like efficacy, like they really work and how clean as possible can they be because polishes still paint press ons are still classic but if you can have 94% pcr in your press ons when you actually have a better for you better for the earth option. I do want to talk about the name of your company. I understand it's based from your grandmother and great grandmother tell me more. So all of us, my great grandmother and june is my grandmother and I was so inspired by my grandmother's to have just such high standards, but Big hearts and so I had to name the salons and our product line after them because I just, it felt like the perfect homage you were in equity sales for over a decade. I have to ask, what was it like leaving this career and becoming an entrepreneur. It was a little crazy. I think the world of being an entrepreneur seemed so exciting and people think it's like this amazing thing to be your own boss, but then actually have to be your own boss and regulate your time. But I really wanted to do something that was bigger than the job I had. I wanted to I love clients, I love client service, but I wanted to bring joy to people in a bigger way. And while nails might seem like a small thing, it really does bring people joy. They paint their nails and then it lasts for a week. It's not a small thing, it's not, I mean it's not, but it's exciting, you're here from L. A. You sense that seasons are changing. You know, you're the person to go to for fall trends for nails. What should we be looking out for? Well, for fall, we launched a lot of like coffee house vibes, so like chocolate. Um some jewel tones, also some neutrals because people do like to extend that neutral vibe. But I also love the glazed doughnut manny and we've been pairing kind of like our shimmery shares with the chm, it's like a brownish sheer and it's the perfect like fall transition into that glazed donut that right, because we don't want to be like summer glazed donut. We want to be fall glazed because we're at that point right now, the next few weeks and that manny can iterate So many different and so many different outfits totally. What's next for olive? And June? Well, we very much are always focused on innovation, right? So how can we create the most unique products to market what our community asks for? Never pushing something out on them. But they're not looking for. So every year, that innovation this year, it's obviously quick dry, which we're so excited about. But we are working on our 2023 innovation.
