The World Cup of mixed martial arts is about to take center stage in combat sports. A one-night, eight-man tournament will kick off November 11, and fighters from around the world will duke it out for the $100,000 grand prize. Campbell McLaren, CEO of Combate Americas and Co-Creator of the UFC, joins to to explain why sports fans should tune in to the fights. The fight will be simulcast on NBC SportsNetwork and Telemundo starting at 11:30pm EST. The Combate Americas typically features Hispanic talent, but will look to expand its audience with big-time fights. Earlier this summer, Combate Americas made its debut on ESPN3.
