These Wings Will Have Your Super Bowl Guests Flocking For More

And the super bowl is just days away. So if you haven't picked up your snacks yet. No, not yet. Now is the time. And if you still haven't even planned your menu, Shannon Lanier is on the scene to help us out and an apron. That's right. Don't worry. I've got you covered for the big game. As you can see the chicken wings are done. Cook those up just a few minutes ago. But now it's time to sauce them. So I have chef bread here at Blue smoke that he knows all about making sure the wings are smokey and they have the right sauce on them. So chef Brett, let's start off with planning the menu. How do you go about planning a super bowl party menu? Sure, Absolutely. I think for a super bowl party, the same with barbecue. You really want to make it fun for everybody. You wanna be able to get your hands in there. Lots of finger foods, a variety. You want to showcase different meats options. Make sure you got some vegetables in there, may be some good blue cheese dip or ranch dip it in. Can't go wrong with carrot or a nice piece of broccoli. Who needs vegetables? Kids eat your vegetables. That's important. Okay, so we have some chicken wings here. They look amazing. What kind is that? And what kind of this? So these are both of our smoked chicken wings here, We smoked them in house with some cherry wood for about 2 to 3 hours. Absolutely. Then we pick them up in the fryer, get them nice and crispy. we put them down, we roll them around our sauces. This is our chipotle barbecue sauce. So this is like your, if you think barbecue wings meets buffalo, this is what you get a little bit of zip and some heat from that chipotle and the, and they got the Alabama white wings right here, creamy with some vinegar. Really doing Alabama justice right there with their barbecue sauce and their traditions, traditions really special. Really? I'm gonna make some of that one. So how did you make it? We have the wings here. How much of the sauce should I put in? I would start with about two or three hours to get a couple of lugs. Okay, so I just pour it all over and try to cover each chicken wings. You want to get a nice and coated and you toss it. Okay? And I'm gonna actually toss this. You get, you, get, you get okay? Here we go. So they're slippery, You go a little bit on the wrist. There you go. I think that's messy enough for now. Yeah. So you want to try to make sure they're all coated, right? So you just give them a toss back and forth. It's on the wrist. Okay, so that's it. Look at that best dude, Give a flip. Yeah, I am ready for the game. I'm ready for a side hustle job here. Blue smoke needs chicken wing flipper. You just let me know, but before we go, we got to also know about ordering stuff. I don't like to cook. So it'll be a lot easier if I could just get from, you know, we love to cook so that's great. So it works out well. They are. Yeah, for a while. We definitely saw a lot of inflation but we've seen prices starting to balance out and so things are coming back to normal and and super great. We're happy to see it. Very surprised actually affordable wings were this season. All right, well I'm glad they are affordable cause it's time to eat these. But I guess we gotta wait and show you guys.
