Diamond hopes this will inspire a network of women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to initiate start-ups, drive economic expansion, and advance communities around the world. Since this campaign launched in 2013 Women's Entrepreneurship Day has helped fund 500 Syrian refugee girls so they could attend high school and started a partnership with a local university to offer scholarships to the girls in Uruguay.
