This Week In Trivia: Cannabis, Movies Franchises, and Coachella

Happy friday friends welcome back to between valves. You know Asia, living through history. It's just downright exhausting. And we miss pretty much everything as a result of that. So that mind is not for everybody's favorite segment of the week? This week in trivia. Now, of course, we do have to welcome our host with the mostest on this show. Not only was it 4 20 New Jersey also became the latest state to kick off recreational marijuana sales residents and visitors 21 years and older are now able to purchase recreational cannabis and weed products for more than a dozen dispensaries across the garden state cannabis companies obviously have a lot to be excited about as more and more states legalize marijuana. Alright, here's our first question. What is the largest cannabis company by market cap? Is it a canopy growth be till ray? See true leave d cure leaf largest company by market. Okay, so Asia, this is interesting because Asia at one point like each one of these companies was the largest by market cap. So it's like who knows what their stock is at this particular point. Like years ago when I went to Canada when they legalized weed canopy growth at the time was the largest I think last week it was probably Till ray. Um So you want to do like a coin toss here Asia? Is there anyone in particular you're looking at? I mean purely by the way, cure leaf is huge by the way. So it could be that one we were just talking about here Leaf with Chloe Aiello and I think I think cannabis reporter Chloe Aiello is right out there in the office, you know after all the mornings I've put into opening bell and tracking these thinking back to the cheddar 50 to think which one I've seen most recently. Green thumb Industries is actually in second place with 3.73 point $74 billion market cap truly till ray and canopy growth round out the top five. Detroit Tiger Slugger Miguel cabrera remains stuck on 2999 hits now in his last at bat on thursday cabrera was actually denied one last shot at the historic market when the Yankees intentionally walked. That's pretty good. Now some members of the 303,000 hit club are well known Pete Rose and Ty Cobb actually have over 4000 hits, Derek Jeter has the fifth most all time and Albert Pujols is the only active major leaguer as of right now could change in a few hours to be in the club after Miguel cabrera though. We could have to wait a while. Robinson Cano has just under 2700 hits but he's already 39 and after him is Yadier Molina, another another 39 year old and he's also a catcher. So here's our question, which of these players is not a member of the 3000 hit club? Is it Rogers? Hornsby, rafael Palmeiro, Craig Biggio or alkaline? Not a member. So Asia, how good are you at baseball and sports? Especially when it comes to old baseball players baker, you know, I am not a mile. I always lean on you for your baseball knowledge and none of these names by the way are like ringing any bells in my okay, so it's not a good but I'm pretty sure Craig Biggio who played center field and second base for the Astros is on that list. So I don't think it's him, rafael Palmeiro, I don't know if he is in that list because I think he's in a home run record club, but I could get that wrong. I feel like at that point you stick it out. He's one of only three players ever to hit over 403 times in his career. And in 1924 he hit 4 24 A mark that has not been met since now those seasons helped boost his career average to 3 58 putting him second all time to Ty cobb but didn't quite get to. On Wednesday vin, Diesel revealed the title of the first half of the Fast and furious final chapter. Fast X Diesel also captioning the instagram posts with quote day one, which means production of the 10th installment has kicked off. Fast Exes current currently slated to hit theaters on May 19th, 2023. The Fast and furious franchise is the sixth Highest grossing film series of all time with a combined gross of over six billion dollars. Now listen, of course no one actually believes vending company will just stop making these movies. No, of course not. But if they want to catch up to the all time Leader James Bond, they'll have to hurry up since double oh seven has 27 movies in county. But here's our question, which of these film franchises has the most movies? Is it A Rocky be Halloween? See the Pink panther or D. A. Nightmare on Elm Street baker, I know you like your trashy movies do. And by the way, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street have had a lot of movies. I feel like it's gotta be B or D. Right? I think so. I think so because I feel like Freddy. I do feel like it's because you have Halloween H. 20. You got Hollywood begins, Halloween begins. You've got like all the, I think it's I think it's Halloween. Okay, what do you think? I feel like A. D. A Nightmare on Elm Street there are multiple characters. Okay, we're going D. Connor, we're going, we're going with the horror flick, tile. Richards will be so mad at you. Alright, listen up, the Halloween franchise now contains an incredible 12 movies and number 13 is coming next. Oh my God, what's that? You want me to name all of them in order. Okay, here they are, Halloween Halloween two, Halloween, three season of the Witch Halloween for the return of Michael Myers Halloween Five, The Revenge of Michael Myers Halloween Curse of Michael Myers Halloween H. 2020 years later, one of baker's favorites. Then we have Halloween resurrection, then we have Halloween than Halloween to then guess what? Back to Halloween and then Halloween kills and coming next october, Halloween ends, I doubt that will actually be the end of it, but that's what they're calling it by the way, by the way, friday the 13th, not mentioned here, also has 12 because people just love slasher movies. Pink Panther has 11, Rocky and Nightmare on Elm Street seriously slacking. They only have nine movies, wow, that is crazy. You know what? I'm also envisioning here too with fast and furious, they're gonna be like old elderly senior citizens and somehow gonna still have to drive maybe in virtual reality or something. We gotta go to this next one run on the show, come on, alright weekend, two of Coachella kicks off today, let's recap what happened in weekend? We headliner headliner, like the main, Ariana grande is one of the headliners, I cannot tell you the year right now, Madonna performed at Coachella in 2000 and six.
