TikTok Launches Musical Talent Contest

Tik Tok has announced that it's holding a global music competition called Give Me The Mic. It's calling for 32nd submissions from creators like singers and musicians. Anyone over 18 can enter using the, hashtag Give me the mic. The top 30 Us submissions will make it to the live stream semi final and then the top 10 from the live votes will make it to the US finals on September 10. The winner of the US competition will get 50,000 diamonds. A tiktok currency that can be exchanged for real money and no word on what the conversion rate is. That's the hook. So the US winner will enter the live global finale on September 22 and 23. And are you gonna enter? You had me until listen, you get $50,000 worth of diamonds. We don't know what the conversion rate is. But that aside, I think this is awesome. I mean, some of the best music I've heard or some of the songs that I really get into are from tiktok. So I think this is great and you and I know because we spent, I spent a lot of time on tiktok, there's so much talent out there. I can't wait to see what people submit.
