Gail Simmons has been a judge on "Top Chef" since its first season premiered in 2006. Now she's releasing her very first cookbook. "Bringing It Home" features some of Simmons favorite recipes from her travels while shooting 15 seasons of the hit show. She says anyone who follows the recipes in her book will be able to capture the true essence of the flavors of the world, without having to take a trip. The "Top Chef" judge also shares her tips for people who aren't very familiar with the kitchen, but want to start cooking. "It's all about practice," Simmons says. "Top Chef" kicks off its 15th season this December. The show will take viewers on a culinary adventure through the state of Colorado. Simmons says it's going to be an exciting season, and that the altitude actually plays an interesting role in the competition.
