you know over the last few weeks we've asked some of our guests a few turkey themed questions from T. M. R. E. To Jeff Dunham. We got their answers all in honor of the holiday. So here were some of our favorites. Take a look at these mashed potatoes. Oh my gosh, I am obsessed with mashed potatoes and gravy. I could eat that every single day of my life. I am obsessed with that show. Hopefully. Tom Hanks. Who crossed on that door boy, I don't know. Somebody look up to you. You're sure you look up the other night. Okay, who would you want? I want light in there, joe biden. Yeah, because you look at this side by side and go separated at birth. No. Coming from a vegetarian I would say no, I love a deep fried turkey. There's just something about when you deep fried in that peanut oil. Oh good. I used to eat turkey. I just eat fish now. So I hate to be on that. But Is Turkey good. That's a tough question for Jeff because my wife is 100% vegan. The Jeff is a cheating vegan. So yeah, Turkey's great. Don't tell you. Alright, okay. Yeah, he doesn't need it never all the time? Shut up. Okay. I can't believe I'm shocked that that many people do we want to get in on the fun and answer those questions as well. So guys, what is your favorite thanksgiving sad dish? I want to call it stuffing. But our producer meg, who's from the midwest called it dressing dressing, but it's stuffing guys. Okay, so she says I'm gonna go with any dessert. I like start with that. Forget the turkey and everything else. I'm starting with the pies. Okay, so guys, I love me some mashed potatoes with gravy without with gravy, I'm fine with it. But now I've gotten to the point where I have the base down that I can add parmesan if I want one year, lemon one year garlic one year. So yeah, I am always the fat kid eating garlic. All right, Next question, what celebrity would you want at your thanksgiving dinner Beyonce because the whole time she can stare at her. I want we just had him on the show this week tom Daley, He does not celebrate thanksgiving. So I want him and he and I can eat mashed potatoes and together. Taylor swift taylor. Yes, I love you. I love you Ask them to perform for you. Yes, I would like any song. I'm sure she'll love that. All right, Next up we have is turkey good. You heard what is so easy here. Unless you're vegan, I mean yes, unless you're vegan. But like every turkey and even the most overdone burned turkey is still really delicious. Undercooked turkeys. Yes, under the turkey and dry turkey. Turkey. Turkey. Turkey learn because you know I'm obsessed with the contestant never put your dressing stuffing inside the turkey and cook it together because it overcooked the turkey and undercooked the stuffing, do it separately. Always. Also, by the way, one thing I always put wine in the bottom of the tray when you're racing because then it keeps it moist. Any wine, you're drinking, any wine you're drinking. Alright well all of this turkey talk really had us thinking after thanksgiving, there are just so many leftovers, which I love. So how does one turn those delicious leftovers into dishes the next day? Well, we're here to help. There's so many ways to get creative. First up, if you have leftover turkey and cranberry sauce, you can try these sliders, sliders like these turkey, cranberry slaughters, you can use leftover turkey. Or if you want to take this as an appetizer on thanksgiving, you can do thick cut deli meat. Turkey. I'm simply adding these layers until wine rose. You do turkey, Cranberry sauce and then swiss cheese, add the top back on And then I'm making this yummy poppy seed butter sauce that I am brushing over the top next time covering this with aluminum. Full cooking on 3 50 for about 10 minutes and then uncovering and cooking another 10 minutes to get it nice and brown on the top. And if you're not a slider person, you can definitely try out this fun turkey and sweet potato pop. Just make your own, just mash up some sweet potatoes, sarah, cream, salt and pepper for the pot pie filling. So I saute some onions with some fresh herbs, celery and frozen peas and carrots and your leftover turkey. You could also use chicken and some chicken or turkey broth, season with salt and pepper and let it simmer for a few minutes. Make a slurry with some broth and some cornstarch and into your filling and let it simmer until everything thickens, divided in ramic and dishes. Top it with your sweet potato topping and bake it in the oven until everything is hot. It really does. That looks good and that's gonna do for this filling edition of trending.
