Black panther two is another huge moment as it will be the first m. C. Movie led by black women experts are predicting the film to make over $350 million at the global box office this weekend alone. And guys I'm not surprised because I had a chance to see the this movie and it was absolutely incredible that both of you are raving. I'm gonna see it again this weekend. Taking the family to all five of us were giving our money to the box office. I can't wait to see this. Okay so you mentioned $350 million globally. But you have to remember the first one brought in $202 million at the domestic box office. So does it get close to that this weekend? Some experts say. Yeah maybe it might just because it's a long holiday weekend, maybe a lot of people are gonna be able to go out to the theaters and the other big question going into this, how they sort of handled Chadwick bozeman's death because not a lot of big franchises lose their star and it seems like for all intensive purposes they handled it incredibly graceful, so respectful and just beautiful the way they did it look forward to that and it's impossible to know you know how the movie would have looked with him in it. But the way they handled it to Shannon's point, it was incredible by the way. The other good part of all this is the Rihanna music because Rihanna is back with another song from the Wakanda Forever soundtrack. There's a listen we can yeah, the track arrives on the heels of her ballot lift me up. So guys, what are we thinking of this new Rihanna? Okay, so I love the new song but I love lift me up even more and again I was waiting for something to be boom boom. I wanna dance. Dance. Yeah, surprisingly love the balance as well. I know I'm loving ballad Rihanna very soulful again, maybe not what her moore poppy moore, you know, pop culture music fans were looking for but I think it's really butte and the soulful vibe of this music really kind of goes with the we also I think we like our pop stars to sort of expand in a different sort of territory. I mean look, I love a Rihanna dance pop as much as the next person. But look at what Taylor swift does in terms of evolving as a musician, Beyonce just put out a disco album, You know, there's talk potentially Rihanna is gonna be doing a reggae album, so we kind of want our pop stars to sort of evolve, just like black panther long live replay and elsewhere in the entertainment world, comedian chris rock will make history as the first comedian to perform live on netflix. I also want to say this is gonna bring netflix up to see speed with other streaming platforms like hulu Disney plus amazon prime. So you know, it's almost late to the game at this point. But it also makes the question for me, what's the difference between these streaming platforms and maybe they don't want there to be one, they want to blur the lines so they can get some of that revenue the traditional cable is getting and you know, the comedy specials have been so lucrative for them. They even have their live comedy thing that they do, It's a series. But now this is kind of both because it's live and live on that larger question, does he address the slap with will smith in this? Because chris rock has not talked about this yet, How many specials he has? That's why this is, but this is different, this is a live studio audience. Okay, well, as if we didn't already love Lizzo enough, she released the official trailer for her HBO max documentary. Love lizzo, Check it out. When I was a little girl, I would write these pop songs but I didn't have the confidence in my voice. Look at Melissa, trying to be shy, how am I supposed to love somebody else? Love Lizzo hits HBO max on thanksgiving. I am most cited about this documentary than all the other documentaries that are out because she just it's so infectious with her energy. She makes you want to love her. And I hope, I think that's why people do people. It's very hard to find people that are not fans of lizzo because she just has such an amazing relatable story. Look as you mentioned, there's so many documentaries out there, we're gonna talk about another one in a second, allows these artists to sort of control the narrative of their own story and I love that she said she's holding up a mirror for her viewers to when they look at her, they see themselves and that is what we're trying to get across in Hollywood. I agree. And by the way, the other documentary we're gonna about to talk about is Christina Aguilera. She's the latest start getting her own dock the project and take a closer look at the singer's life from her early star as a kid, a Disney kid to international pop superstar. According to deadline, cameras have been following Christina for the last 18 months and will feature moments from her on tour and at home as a mother as well. Look she has multiple grammy nominations, tons of Latin Grammy nominations coming out here as well. And she also has had a rocky life in pop stardom like Britney spears and so many other pop people. She's got a great story she's gonna be able to tell here, can't wait to hear it.
