A federal trial is set to begin today for the man accused of attacking Paul Pelosi, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, David De Pap has pleaded not guilty to federal charges including assault on a family member of a federal official and attempted kidnapping of a federal official. Also pleaded not guilty to state charges including assault, attempted murder and others. According to court documents, he broke into Pelosi's home last October and attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer. The federal trial is set to run through next week. A date for the state trial will be set on November 29th.
