More on the former president's election interference case in Georgia. The trial likely will not conclude until the winter of 2024 or even early 2025. This is according to lead prosecutor and Fulton County district attorney, Fannie Willis, who dismissed any concerns about Trump's presidential campaign interfering with the trial. Willis said she does not consider election cycles or an election season when bringing criminal cases. The judge presiding over that case has not yet set a trial date and has indicated the case may need to be split into separate trials.
