And today is the third day of Trump's civil fraud trial in New York. Trump, his company and his adult sons are all accused of inflating their net worth to gain profitable business deals. Trump's lawyers filed an appeal today to a ruling from last week in which presiding judge Arthur and Gordon found Trump and his co defendants liable for persistent and repeated fraud. The judge also rebuked the former president yesterday and issued a limited gag order against him. He did this after Trump claimed one of the judges clerks was quote girlfriend to Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer. The comment was posted on his social media platform through social and Goran ordered Trump to delete the social media post, calling it disparaging and untrue. The judge also told participants in this particular case, any disparaging comments about court staffers could lead to quote serious sanctions.
