The trucking industry is about to get a new look. Self-driving truck startup TuSimple is planning to create mapped routes connecting hundreds of terminals to enable efficient, low-cost long-haul autonomous freight operations across the United States by 2024. The company will be partnering with UPS, Xpress Enterprises, Penske Truck Leasing, and Berkshire Hathaway-owned grocery and food-service distributor McLane.
