Internal research shows Twitter is losing its most active users, according to reports, as Elon Musk is scheduled to close his acquisition of the company.

Well outside of earnings, Twitter reportedly losing its most active users days before Elon Musk has to close his $44 billion November trial. Internal research reportedly showing the platform is struggling to hold on to its most active accounts, Twitter stocks up 1% today and while only 10% of Twitter's accounts are so called heavy users, they're responsible for about 90% of all tweets and half of all global revenue. Internal documents reportedly showing the number of these accounts has been on the decline since the early days of the pandemic in 2020. And another concern for Twitter is add friendly topics like sports, entertainment news, becoming less popular on the platform.
