Twitter Posting Declines Amid Elon Musk Takeover

The most active Twitter users are posting less since Elon Musk took over the platform with top users average tweets per month declining by about 25%. Since the deal, people are also moving away from Twitter entirely. As 60% of us adults who have used Twitter in the past year say they've recently taken breaks from the social network. A quarter of that group said they won't use Twitter a year from now. The data from a Pew research center survey comes as Twitter welcomes incoming Ceo Linda Yacono who recently resigned from her position as global advertising chief at NBC Universal.
