U.S., E.U. Make New Methane Pledge

Breaking news folks: The world is on fire! Wildfires are destroying our forests, our oceans are heating and rising, poised to submerge the coasts in just a few decades, and there's no sign that any of it can be stopped. Thanks to a UN climate report earlier this year, we now know we have a limited window to stave off the worst effects of climate change. Now, in an effort to potentially slow the warming of the planet and the arrival of more climate-driven disasters, President Biden and the European Union announced a global pledge to reduce methane emissions by 30% by the end of the decade.
