U.S. stocks closed near session highs following the Federal Reserve's decision to raise interest rates by three-quarters of a percentage point. The move led to the S&P 500 jumping 2.6%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average 1.4%, and the the tech-heavy Nasdaq 4.1%, which was the stock exchange's biggest gain in over two years.
