The economy continues to show strength on the face of high borrowing costs. What have you learned here? And that's exactly right. So the jobs market does continue to show resilience even in the face of slow growth through those higher rates, jobless claims today falling last week by 9000 with 228 1000 Americans filing for first time unemployment benefits. And for the weekend of July 8, about 1.8 million people were collecting unemployment benefits. Layoffs are greater this year than last. That's for sure. But the economy is still adding jobs on net each month at a pretty healthy pace to support the economy.
