Liran Amrany, Co-founder and CEO of Debitize, discusses the company's mission to streamline finances and increase credit scores by getting rid of debit cards. Debitize asks users to link their bank accounts to their credit cards. Every purchase you make on your credit card is then paid for by your bank account through an automatic transfer of funds. Amrany notes that the easiest way for employees to improve their credit score is by having a credit card and paying off the balance each month and that some studies find that two-thirds of millennials are actually shying away from credit card use and their credit scores are suffering because of it. Debitize has not yet monetized but when they do, they will accrue money through user fees and the offering of more advanced versions of the software.
