A US navy warship operating in the Middle East shot down multiple missiles near the coast of Yemen. Yesterday, us officials told CNN the missiles were fired by Iranian backed Houthi militants. The group has been involved in ongoing conflict in Yemen. The US intercepted three missiles as well as several drones. There were no casualties reported. The Pentagon said it cannot confirm the missiles target but can confirm the missiles and drones came from Yemen and were heading along the Red Sea potentially towards targets in Israel.
