VCs Push Startups To Go Public Through Direct Listing

More venture capitalists are pushing the startups they're invested in to go public through a direct listing. The last two notable companies to go public through this process were Slack and Spotify. Rick Kline, partner and co-chair of Goodwin's Capital Markets Practice, where he represents corporate clients on things like venture financings and M&A transactions, joined Cheddar to discuss why some startups may choose this route.
