The Daily Dot's Andrew Couts discusses Verizon's latest announcement that it is dividing its unlimited data plans into tiers where each plan will face throttling of some magnitude. This is a reversal of Verizon's announcement just a few months ago that an unlimited data plan would not allow you to be subject to any caps in speed. We talk with Couts about how the telecom giant is getting away with such a move, given the current Obama-era rules that are still in place surrounding net neutrality.
