He may be known for his music, but Waka Flocka Flame has a lot going on these days. Ahead of the upcoming season of his show, ‘Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka’, the rapper spent some time with Cheddar News giving some sneak peeks into his recent projects. He discussed the importance of finding peace and co-parenting as Season 3 of his WE TV show will be following his recent separation from Tammy, his new found love for farming, and how he hopes to be a role model for young kids.

Waka Flocka Flame Talks New Season of 'Waka & Tammy,' His Love of Farming

and welcome back everyone between bells when our next guest is not making hit records, he's being a loving father and also navigating parenthood as well. And now waka Flocka flame back for season three of his hit reality tv show waka and tammy want the Flocka and this time there's some major changes Hannah for he and tammy's relationship. Look at this way, we just decided to go our separate ways. Like if it's meant to be, we'll we'll crunch back together, but she should be happy and free joining us Now is rapper waka Flocka flame Welcome! Welcome fans are excited to see season three of WAka and tammy looks like we're expecting to see how you and tammy navigate life after separating, which I think is so important for people to see. So how has it been adjusting to this new normal? Uh and the first six months I was living by this quote called We Outside, It was exciting. The next six months was lonely. Uh the year of now, I've just been this has been peaceful, peaceful building companies just chilling. I'm at peace. Alright, walker, europe at peace. I mean you and your daughter, charlie have such a close relationship, Was it hard for her to sort of deal with the separation and how are you and tammy working to sort of make sure that she's prioritized throughout this entire journey. Um I think for us, you know, being parents, it's not a priority. It's something that's the way of life. So it's still charlie first, I think for me, man, charlie just she just got a car, She's in 12th grade, she just pulled up at the house after school. I'm still getting used to my daughter driving. Uh it's a lot, I can't even think, I don't care, I'm worried about my daughter, she's looking at college crazy. Yeah, it is, it's fast. They do time flies by. So many people love this show. Why do you think it resonates so well with so many viewers? Um you know something I'm about to watch all seasons? I never watched every episode ever. I thought it was like kind of like why would I watch myself? You want to watch it? And I've never seen the first episode either, so I'm gonna watch with everybody tonight. Uh I honestly don't know it I guess I guess people seeing the evolution of rappers and being fathers because you know, we kind of had a bad stigma beginning now. You see artists and hip hop man, they love their kids. So it's like, it's like a breath of fresh air, seeing guys like us. I I don't know. Okay, okay, well look, I I can't watch myself on television. It's very weird for me to watch me as well. Yeah, it's very it's very weird, very bonkers by the way for our viewers. They don't know waka. You recently took up farming last year. Has that also really helped you sort of find peace here. Yes, I mean I'm gonna tell you man, I had to get into farming because I lost myself when I started eating more toxic, I gained so much weight. That's another reason I never watch tv. I look, I had to look, I'm like yo why nobody told me that? I'm like terrible. So when I got into farming actually what made me do, I just want to go back to love, I wanted to express love and going to separation man, you start finding other personalities and all the things that that that that gives you peace. So you know the cows, everything, that's my baby. So it's just love y'all it makes you appreciate eating food, you don't overeat no more now, you know, I don't know, y'all got to experience it to believe it and we love it. Yeah, so farming is a whole other level yo right hand to God, that's what started yo that's crazy. I literally just bought like, like new plants, like I literally, I love it is such a cathartic thing, but with that said, what's the most challenging part about farming that surprised you waka Oh them cows. Yeah, I believe it, I dig the pen, stepping in in the mud with the manure and that's jesus, get up back in the pen, cutting the grass just a lot, we'll cut the grass seeds, I grew up doing it, just learning how to be more hands on and building a meditation house we built, we built our garden, it's way different now than I look. Uh like just actually being hands on, not just talking the talk, not just hiring people to do it. Actually put my hands to it and I think today men today don't display things like this, but like younger gods, so I just don't want to display glitz, glamour and lifestyle because farming is the same thing. I know billionaires and multi millionaire farmers, so it's just beautiful. I love it. I'm just showing kids life is bigger than just being viral. You know, you've grown so much as a person as an artist and we've seen the growth on your show. What do you credit all this growth too? First I got credit growth to God right? And what me saying that is, I learned that I can't change nothing like it's impossible to change. So I start living by a whole new analysis. I start living by the evolving, I said, Yo waka to be a better you to to live up to perfection, you have to evolve and when I say changing, it's like forgetting, it's like hurt, it's like I regret but to evolve, it feels better, it's like a breath of fresh air evolve and I got a new haircut that's like, it's just like you want to be, it's like a, it's like a new best friend, I can't explain it, I just love evolving.
