Walmart, Macy's Report Q3 Earnings

Two major retailers have reported their latest quarterly results this morning. First up, let's talk Walmart reporting better than expected profit and revenue in the third quarter. Strength in gro groceries and e commerce boosted the company's revenue, the company said so it's all a weakening of consumer spending towards the end of the quarter and offered a lower than expected full year forecast. Meantime, Macy's also topped profit and revenue estimates in its latest quarter. The retailer saw improvement in inventory and margin during the period which helped to offset a sales decline. The company also raised its full year sales guidance gap will report its quarterly results later today.
