Walrus Calf Rescued in Alaska

Right now to an animal that's definitely real and adorable. A nearly £200 Walrus cap is getting plenty of special care and attention. He's so cute after being found alone and miles from the ocean on Alaska's North Slope. Well, the male Walrus who doesn't have a name yet was found a week ago and flown from the North Slope to Seaward where the nonprofit Alaska Sea Life Center is based. Officials said it was highly unusual for a Walrus to be found in the area. This one month old calf was now nourished, dehydrated and possibly fighting an infection. He's now being bottle fed, receiving round the clock cuddling from animal welfare workers. Walruses are highly tactile and social animals. And so the calf needs near constant care. And the center said it was the first wal risk patient in four years. I love we could all use like cuddling, can cure a lot of things. I think there's actual scientific data that, you know, snuggling cuddling, whether it's from a human, whether it's from an animal is very beneficial by the way, that war is adorable. Whatever his name is, he's, it's going to be tough for him to go back in the water after all those human cuddles. Absolutely. But we hope he gets fed properly and so he can swim back to safety. That's right.
