WeWork Paid $2 Million to Whistleblower Threatening to Expose Sexual Harassment, Rampant Drug Use

More scandals at WeWork now revealed. In 2018, a woman who formerly worked in WeWork's real estate business sent the company a 50 page document that alleged drug use, sexual harassment and pay discrimination. The document threatened a lawsuit at a time when WeWork was in the middle of fundraising. WeWork ultimately paid the woman $2 million to stay quiet and forced her one time boss out of the company.
