Emily Keeton, Global Head of M&A at WeWork, discusses the company's partnership with Cheddar. We've recently teamed up for our new Los Angeles headquarters at the Hollywood Vine location and a number of WeWork Cheddar studios are set to open in the near future. The partnership will see WeWork members interviewed and featured on Cheddar. We also discuss what's next for the company as it continues to make major acquisitions in the start-up space. WeWork has made four acquisitions since May with more on the horizon. The targets revolve around helping the company build its business both geographically and technologically. Spacemob is a Singapore-based office-sharing company recently acquired by WeWork that will help it build its Asian presence. We also discuss a number of other companies recently purchased which enrich office and business operations as a whole. Keeton notes that the foundation of WeWork's business model is on building community. She discusses the company's Veterans in Residence program that will hire 1500 veterans in the next five years and support WeWork member companies that hire vets. We discuss WeWork's recent purchase of Lord & Taylor's New York City flagship and why it was fitting for its new headquarters.
