John Dewar and Sons has been distilling whisky in Scotland since 1846. It's one of the largest blended whisky distillers in the world. The company is launching Dewar's 25. The 25-year-old blended whisky is the company's first new blend since 2014. Gabriel Cardarella, Dewar's North American Ambassador, explains what goes into a blended whisky. He says you shouldn't fear blends, and that using whisky from different casks adds an additional depth of flavor. Cardarella also gives a little whisky history lesson. He explains why Scotland spells whisky differently than the rest of the world.
