The pandemic put millions of renters in the position of being unable to pay rent. For much of the pandemic the federal government and several state and local governments have had eviction moratoriums in place to keep struggling Americans in their homes. That may be about to change, as a federal judge on Wednesday struck down the federal moratorium.
