Before Congress passed the massive COVID relief bill this month, the White House consistently touted the bill as receiving 'bipartisan support.' that's a little misleading since they're the bill got zero Republican votes but enjoys a great deal of support among Republican voters. In the lead-up to passage, the White House tried to capitalize on that support by selling the bill directly to the American people, including by partnering with a handful of social media influencers.
