Interest in Apple's iPhone is waning and as the backbone of Apple's hardware business, it's not a good sign. According to data from market research firm, IDC the iPhone struggled to win over customers in most major markets. Apple saw a 30% decline in shipments in the first quarter of 2019 and it now holds just 11.7 percent of the global smartphone market share.
