Food insecurity impacts almost 49 million Americans every year, of which almost a third are children. That means over 13 million children live in households that lack the means to get enough nutritious food on a regular basis. No Kid Hungry is a non-profit that has set out to end child hunger here in the United States. It has raised almost $600 million for the cause to date. Billy Shore, Founder of No Kid Hungry, joins Cheddar to discuss the importance of fighting child hunger. He says that he has no doubt that the nation will make the problem a thing of the past.
