On Tuesday, PayPal announced its mobile payment platform Venmo will be accepted at retailers across the country. The app will be integrated with retailers including Lululemon, Footlocker and Forever 21. Brand Innovators' Chief Marketing Officer Ted Rubin says Venmo's new integration is an advantage for brands who are part of the plan. PayPal's Chief Operating Officer Bill Ready said in a blog post that the vision for Venmo is to not only be a go-to app for payments between friends, but to also act as a digital wallet for consumer spending.
