Even with more women on the ballot this year than ever before, donors are still giving men thousands of dollars more in political donations. Democratic women running for the U.S. house raised, on average, $185,000 less than their male counterparts according to the Center for Responsive Politics. However, Republican non-incumbent women out-raised Republican non-incumbent men.
