Winter Storm Causes Power Outages, Traveling Disruptions

Brutal winter storm slammed the us overnight. Right now, a lot of people are dealing with blizzard conditions, power outages and flight cancelations. More than one million people don't have electricity across five states. In Michigan alone, 800,000 are in the dark. The West and Upper Midwest are getting the brunt of the snow. Right now. Some areas are seeing more than a foot of snow. This is particularly dangerous because some of these regions just aren't used to this kind of weather. The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for the southern California mountains for the first time in 34 years now. As of this afternoon, these dangerous conditions caused more than 3000 flight delays in the US and more than 1000 cancelations.
