Woman Charged Over 'Baby Mary' Cold Case

A woman has been charged over the death of her newborn baby whose body was found in a New Jersey Park close to 40 years ago. On Christmas Eve, the baby was found by two Children in the men township park in 1984. The police named the infant baby Mary. She was found wrapped in a towel in a plastic bag with her umbilical cord still attached. The baby was alive when she was abandoned. Morris County prosecutor, Robert Carroll said the woman whose name hasn't been released was 17 at the time and was arrested back in April. The woman is being charged as a juvenile with manslaughter as she was under 18 when the crime was committed.
