World Health Organization Declares End of COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID global public health emergency is finally over. That's according to the World Health Organization, but this virus is still claiming lives around the world today. The who's director General said quote for more than a year, the pandemic has been on a downward trend with population immunity increasing from vaccination and infection mortality decreasing and the pressure on health systems easing. It's almost hard to believe it's over. I mean, more than three years ago, the W H O issued the health emergency declaration since then on a somber note, nearly seven million people died from this virus.
