Yellowknife Wildfire Prompts Citywide Evacuation

Fires in Canada has prompted the evacuation of an entire city in the country's northwestern territories. The 20,000 residents of Yellow Knife were told to leave Wednesday along with other communities including indigenous city DTA. Official set the official deadline for evacuation at noon local time or 2 p.m. Eastern. Today warning that without rainfall, the fire could reach city limits by tomorrow. This is the fourth largest wildfire evacuation in Canadian history.
