If you didn't get in on the revenge travel trend this summer, fall might be the time to go. However, while airfares are expected to come down amid falling oil and gas prices, hotel stays are not likely to follow suit, as demand for rooms remains high.

Your Flight May Be Cheaper This Autumn, But Your Hotel Probably Will Not

And Asia let's get our viewers caught up on some headlines that we're watching this afternoon travelers hoping to get a deal on hotel's this fall may need to wait a little bit longer while seasonal patterns are back meaning it's gonna cost less to book a hotel room this fall compared to the summer, analysts say demand for rooms will continue in the coming months as business travel resumes this fall affecting overall prices, hospitality and data analytics company str saying that hotels don't have to lower rates to attract business and forecast that the average daily rate to be around 100 and $54 for the third quarter of this year, 100 and 46 for the fourth quarter. Now while some leisure focused markets will have noticeable price declines from august to september prices will still be higher than during the pandemic years. Hotel executive states because of increased costs for everything from staffing to soak to hotels Asia. I am not surprised. I know you just got back from a vacation. I love to see it on social media and um look, I guess you probably got a good deal because prices are going to continue to rise. Oh yeah, I wish I got the deal that we were looking to for this fall season just because this was booked. You know way in advance for me. But I think you and I talked about this too for those who maybe didn't get to plan some revenge travel for this summer and are maybe feeling some como. This is still good news. Not quite the level of pre pandemic that maybe some are expecting. But you really can't beat these prices. Especially when I was perusing some of the flights and just how much those are discounted by. Especially during this crazy time. I think it's still kind of a win. Especially if you have, you know that pent up demand. You haven't been able to get out and about or visit somewhere, visit family maybe. Um, So I think the question is because the cost of food are still higher because people are potentially signing on new Brent leases. We know that's a big problem. Could we see people actually taking advantage? We'll have to wait to see what the answer is. Yeah, we just add quickly. I mean obviously airfare is reliant on fuel gas prices. Those are down. So that's been able to come down. Hotels are a little bit of a different story
