Your Friday Weather Outlook for August 25, 2023

Now to the weather, some showers are making their way through the northeast and some extremely hot temperatures have been taking over in Texas and Florida. Here's a look at the weekend weather. Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist James Gregori with Chet coast to coast forecast. Let's check out what's happening here today. Some storms in play and in place more so in the upper Midwest and in the Tennessee Valley could see some rocking and rolling north of ST Louis, but south of Chicago land. So just keep this in mind as we take another vantage point, a little busy here through New England and the mid Atlantic and the New York metro area down towards Philly, we had some showers and storms. They'll continue to move on out of here a little further to the south. We go towards Florida and the Gulf coast. Things are pretty quiet and then further out to the west, some shower and storm chances north of Denver as you make your way into the plains and then well back out to the west, things are pretty quiet. Thankfully in California. All right. Forecast here as we head in towards tomorrow. Pretty good looking day from New York down to Philly and DC and points to the south, some showers sort of hung up here as we move into the Upper Midwest, Southern Illinois, Indiana, you get some rain there and as we slide in towards your Sunday, keeping an eye on the Franklin here or what's left of Franklin, we'll see if that re energizes back to a hurricane. Otherwise, the lower 48 for the most part, pretty quiet and then it is early next week. Still keeping our eye on what was, what is Franklin there. But things are quiet through portions of New England. Temperatures are still hot down in Dallas at 106 for tomorrow. Houston 103. Even Atlanta makes a run for about 97 1 of the warmest days of the next several in the New York City area. And that is a look at your triple C forecast.
